The economy runs on chains
Cargo is made with no destination; you decide where it goes, and towns only grow when their commercial and industrial districts get what they ask for. Which chains you can finish depends on the climate you pick before the map is even generated.
- Industries and cargo list
Every input ratio and every booster in two sortable tables.
- Climate zones
Why tires, and so vehicles, only come out of tropical maps.
- Town growth and levels
Eighteen levels, the XP each one takes, and the six ratings that hold towns back.
- How to make money
Straight-line distance pays, real track length costs. Plan around that.
- Production planner

Building the network
Tracks, trains and signals
Every signal is a path signal, trains reserve track up to the next signal or reversal stop, and an express line can be told to reserve further ahead. If two trains ever freeze nose to nose on a single line, the signals guide shows the fix. There is no built-in timetable system; the timetable page covers the mod and the vanilla settings that do the same job.
Four map sizes are in the menu, four more hide behind a settings switch, and consoles stop at Large. Map size calculator
