Is the console version the same game?
Close to it. Consoles share the same mod hub as PC, and keyboard and mouse are supported on both PS5 and Xbox. The clearest difference is memory: consoles offer only the Small, Medium and Large map sizes, where PC also has Very Large and four experimental sizes. The map size page has every dimension.
Cross-platform saves and mods
The mod hub is shared across every platform, and mods are rebuilt for consoles automatically when they are uploaded. Saves are the exception for now: a save uploaded from PC cannot yet be downloaded on console. More on that on the mods page.
Frame generation and DLSS
The game does not use frame generation technologies on any platform, so there is no DLSS Frame Generation or FSR frame generation toggle to rely on. On PC, performance comes down to the CPU, RAM and an SSD; the system requirements page has the full table.
